Checking the weather

Forecast Bar’s icon will always tell you the temperature and whether skies are clear. To get a more detailed view, simply click the icon. This will give you a day-by-day forecast of the days ahead.

To see the hourly forecast for a given day with wind direction and precipitation chance, just click on it. Clicking individual hours will give you even more information, including dew point and visibility. The top panel gives you information about the current hour; click it to open a panel that shows pressure, sunset times, and other supplemental info.

The “satellite” icon in the top left corner will bring up a live radar map of your area.

Setting notifications

How many times have you been surprised by an unexpected downpour? In the app’s “Settings” menu, you can set up alerts so that showers never sneak up on you. Click the “Gear” icon at the bottom of the panel, then select “Notifications.” Use the checkboxes to set up notifications and audio alerts for precipitation, severe weather, and a daily weather forecast.

Adjusting your preferences

Under the “General” and “Appearance” tabs, you can adjust the app so that it looks and feels the way you want it to. Shift the app from the MenuBar to the Dock, change the temperature scale, and choose your preferred “climacons,” all from one convenient menu.

You're not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user forum, and we're just users like yourself, Zingy1.

That being said, adding that weather app is not managed by Apple, but by The Weather Channel, let's try and see if I can help you. /spl-meter-app-mac.html.

Try a forced restart of your iPhone: Press and hold both Power (side) and Volume Down buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple Logo. When it appears, release both buttons, wait for your iP7+ to restart, then test it.

In nothing changes, I would install a fresh copy of iOS 11.3.

To perform this operation, make a full backup of your device, then restore it to factory settings, and at the end set it up as new:

Test it. If it works fine, restore it form your previously made backup.
